Story

The teams at Gilbert Meher & Ada Meher, plan to cover the distance between our offices here in Leeds and the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, before the 31st March. With approximately 1,500 miles (2,400 km) between the two cities, the whole team has volunteered to collectively help cover the distance, whether that be daily walks to work, a long cycle ride, a hike or a park run, we’ll be tirelessly logging our miles for the next 2 weeks to reach that 1500 mile goal.

All donations will go to the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal which works relentlessly to provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to refugees and displaced families. As an added gesture to our fundraising, Gilbert Meher as a business will also match donations up to the value of £1000, and in addition Gift Aid are pledging £250 for every £1000 donated, which means with your help to reach our goal we hope to donate a minimum of £2500 to help the humanitarian cause in Ukraine.

Follow our progress as we rack-up the miles via our LinkedIn,
Facebook and Instagram pages; we will be periodically releasing updates to show how far we’ve travelled on our virtual map to Kyiv.

Please donate if you can and share if you can’t. No matter how large or small, all donations will go to helping refugees and those suffering in Ukraine.

Best wishes,

The Gilbert Meher team.
