Participants: Tricia Gibbons, Duncan Gibbons, Amy Gibbons, Esther Gibbons, Ellie Webb, Lottie and Wilf

Story

Good grief that was hard work!!

It's not too late to add to the total.  The overall sum raised so far has fallen a little short of what was hoped for so we'd be really grateful if you could top things up a bit.  Many thanks.

We're at it again I'm afraid.

This time Team Gibbons (featuring Ellie Webb!) is taking part in the 2010 Lakes Challenge to raise some much needed funds for Sandringham School and Grove House, our local hospice.

The challenge is for Duncan, Tricia, Amy and Esther (along with Wilf and Lottie the dogs) to complete:

- 14-16 hours of intense physical exertion...

- around 7,000 feet (over 2,000m) of ascent and descent...

- A walking distance of nearly 20 miles...

In other words, further than a half marathon, over some of the roughest terrain in Britain...and all without any training!

Please give as much as you can.  Many thanks for your support.
