My name is Gianna Viola, and I’m a 17-year-old high school student. In February, I’ll be walking 56 miles to support the American Cancer Society in their mission to create a world without cancer - a cause that is very meaningful to me. My grandma passed away from lung cancer when I was 11, and her strength and love continue to inspire me every day, where her memory drives me to make a difference in others’ lives. The fight against cancer is a fight I’m committed to for life, and I plan to pursue this by becoming a pediatric oncologist. I’m excited to begin this journey now through my JustGiving page!
