Great Hospital Hike 2023 · 16 September 2023 ·

On Saturday, 16 September 2023, join #TeamKings and experience the incredible atmosphere, camaraderie and sense of community as we walk from Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley.

Story

The walk is done, the journey ended ............

I hope you had a fairly relaxing day on 16 September.  TeamStewart didn't.

TeamStewart - Adrian, Duncan, Ian, Lalitha, Martin, Rae, Sarah and Sneha - walked both the Great Hospital Hike and the Little Hospital Hike in memory of Stewart Brown and, with hundreds of others, in aid of the King's College Hospital Charity (KCHC).

Stewart was a renal patient at King's College Hospital for over thirty years.  He always received the best treatment and care from all staff.  They were wonderful to him - as they are with the other patients in their care.

As a thank you, TeamStewart raised money for the KCHC.  That money will enable King's College Hospital Foundation trust to go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, to fund innovative equipment, life-changing research and better facilities.

Except .........

More money will be more helpful.  So, please continue to donate to the King's College Hospital Charity.  The KCHC and TeamStewart will be very grateful.

Every donation helps - and a larger donation helps a little bit more.

Some photos are attached for your enjoyment and wonder - just click on 'View gallery' at top right of the picture of Stewart, who will still be remembered.

Thank you.
