Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page !

Gerry King is walking the coast to coast from St Bee's Head on the West coast of Cumbria, to Robin Hood's Bay on the East coast of North Yorkshire. The distance is 190 miles and passes through three National Parks: The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales and The North Yorkshire Moors. The walk commences on Saturday September 11th, finishing 11 days later on Wednesday 22nd September. The walk is to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of his two sisters: Barbara Donohoe & Marie Dixon who both died as a result of the disease. Gerry would be very grateful for any donations to this very worthy cause.
