We would like to raise money to refurbish the Parents Room at the Special Care Baby Unit at Epsom Hospital. Basically we need everything from kettles to couches!  

This is to help us to provide parents who visit their babies with a more comfortable and calming environment especially at a time when they are feeling particularly vulnerable and anxious.  Just being able to make themselves a cup of tea and sit in a comfortable chair for a few moments really can make all the difference.

I have been challenged by my marathon runner wife to run from Epsom hospital to St Helier hospital in order to raise money for the parents sitting room in Epsom Special Care Baby Unit. This will help them to buy the much needed furniture for their newly decorated room. The run was meant to take place on 29th March but due to Covid-19 it was postponed and we will be running on 11th July.

As a new lockdown runner, I will try my best to complete the 7.5 mile/12km route. I would appreciate any donation between £1 upwards, but not exceeding £10. (understanding the financial constraints under this gloomy Covid Cloud).

I will be supporting my partner Becky, alongside her manager Gerry and husband Deva, to help raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at Epsom hospital. This will go towards helping to make their newly converted room into a much needed homely environment for the tired and anxious parents that Gerry, Becky and the Epsom SCBU team work so hard to care for.

As the original Walk for Wards event on the 29th of March was cancelled, both myself and Becky have decided to complete our walk together on the North Downs way, starting at Westhumble station and aiming to end in the village of Shere.
