My dad and auntie Kathleen died in the last 18 months from this debilitating disease. It is  hard to loose a loved on but even harder to watch them deteriorate in front of your eyes to the point where they don't even know who you they are let alone who you are.

Both my dad and AK were super smart, funny, energetic people and they touched so many people with their infectious personalities.

My only comfort is that they are together as they were the best of friends on earth and will be the same in heaven.
