As many of my friends and family will know, over the years I have challenged myself whether it be walking/running/cycling round the rock all in support of various charities. At times this has been very challenging but also very rewarding.
I have just been informed that I have been accepted to run the London Marathon on behalf of Sports Aid through my work. I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity as the London Marathon is a challenge which I personally have dreamt about doing for a long time. To be given the chance to run the London Marathon for Sports Aid would be a great honor.
Sports Aid was the first charity to be involved with the London Marathon way back in 1984 and since then had gone on to help achieve generations of young talent, not only believe their dream but live their sporting dream.
I am calling on all friends and family for support as I have been asked to raise funds in support of this great charity. Any funds which can be donated would be greatly appreciated and will go to helping a child not only believe the dream, but potentially let them live the dream.
I am off now to put these legs through some serious training. I will provide an update from time to time on my progress. Wish me luck!
Many Thanks
Ged
