Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It was a great shock to hear David Eales passed away from sudden illness on 23 August 2016. He was such a vibrant person it is difficult to believe he is no longer with us. When it came to cycling David was inspirational. At David's wake I found out that a ride from London to Amsterdam, which was due to take place on the 13th of September was now being completed in memory to David. It seemed a fitting tribute to David and somehow I agreed to join.  However I will be starting the journey  in Dunkirk.  At least 3 of us will be completing this journey on Dutch style commuting bikes, which I think would have amused David.

I would be grateful if you could make a donation to SJS awareness UK Ltd,  the charity nominated by David's family.
