I'm raising money again for Countess Mountbatten in memory of Dad - Ken Pope. I've got a fantastic opportunity to visit China in May 2012 and raise money by trekking the Great Wall of China. Dad spent some time in China many years ago and he always hoped to return. Sadly I never had a chance to go there with him in person but I know he will be with me in spirit.

The trek will be tough but when the going gets difficult I'll remember that I'm doing it to raise funds for the hospice that made his last few months of life so comfortable and dignified. They do a fantastic job supporting those who are ill and their families and make a difficult time so much easier. I know my Dad will be willing me on to finish the trek.
