I've been given the honour to captain the Dreams Come True Ice hockey team at the UK Charity Allstars but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the event was cancelled. With this happening, all captains from 2020 have been asked to take the role on in 2021 which I'm delighted to do.

Dreams Come True means a lot to myself and the rest of the team after the work we've seen them do over the years for children and young adults across the UK with life limiting conditions.

2018, was the first year we were able to nominate a child to grant a wish with us sending Ethan McClean to the Atlanta, Georgia to spend a week of the Gladiators Ice Hockey team. They looked after Ethan and his family way more than we expected and even sent him to see the Nashville Predators play a game along with meeting some of the players and getting signed memorabilia. 

2019 Franck was nominated but with his illness and treatment, he can't travel for 3 years so the charity have ring fenced that money so he can get the dream when he's given the all clear.

2020 we didn't have anyone set in stone for the nomination so this gives us more time to think of not just 1 but hopefully 2 children/young adults can be granted their dream.
