Event: Flora London Marathon 2009, on 26 April 2009

Story

Yes I have finally taken the plunge and am running the Flora London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2009 for a fantastic charity called Life Education Centres.

I along with a few other 'mad' types will be dressed up as bubble bees and tied together (my idea as I thought they could pull me along!).  Please come along to cheer us along as we will definitely need all the encouragement we can get!

I want to raise £2000 so any contribution would be really appreciated.  I think Life Education Centres is a great charity and has helped alot of children in the UK and Ireland already.  They have established 43 local operating groups reaching 1 million children, 4,000 primary schools and 30,000 teachers.

The Life Education Centres they set up offer programmes and resources for young people from 3 to 15 years old helping children become more aware of their body, particularly how or why any substances (alcohol and drugs) affect it.

In turn this also provides children with the knowledge, skills and self confidence to enable them to make healthy choices about their future.

With the money I raise they will be able to reach even more children and hopefully change their lives.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks.
