Campaign by Saint Francis Hospice (RCN 275913)
Did you know that a hospice nurse walks 12,000 steps on an average shift? This spring we are challenging you to step into a nurse's shoes by walking 12,000 steps every day in March.

Story

We’re the Romford Ravens and this March we are each pledging to walk 12,000 steps every day to raise money for Saint Francis Hospice.

Our team mate, Lyndsey, was cared for by the nurses both at home and in the Hospice before she died aged just 39. The nurses really cared about Lyndsey so we want to do anything we can to support them.

A hospice nurse walks 12,000 steps on an average shift, so while we can’t do their job, we can try to match their step count and give something back!

Please dig deep and sponsor us so we can make sure more people like Lyndsey can access the care she did.

£54 pays for an hour of Hospice at Home care for one patient£194 pays for a patient visit from a community nurse£202 pays for a day of care for a patient and their family o
