Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In January 2016 my 15 year old brother was diagnosed with cancer. At the time I was just 11 years old and I watched Samuel go through his treatments on the Teenage Cancer Unit, which was designed with the Teenage Cancer Trust and young people to provide specialist services, at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. I also travelled with him to Jacksonville Florida, where he received proton beam therapy.
Five and a half years later Samuel is now doing really well and is working at home on our family farm.
The Teenage Cancer Trust do an incredible job and I’d like to raise both awareness for what they do and some funds by taking part in the Great North Run which I hope to complete this in under 2 hours.
