Georgina and Alex’s skydive · 20 July 2019

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Due to circumstances changing Alex and I are now doing our sky dive in memory of our dear dad Joy. We are grateful for the support the stroke association gave to us all and hope you can still continue to sponsor us. If we could raise money for this team to help other people like our dad then we know know our dad would be proud of us!. Especially by throwing ourself out of a plane! This is going to be a hard and emotional day for everyone but especially Myself and Alex, but we will continue to go ahead and do this for JoyBoy and make him even prouder of us.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
