I have many happy memories as a child walking along this route of canal with my grandad. We would spend all day up and down these paths opening the locks for passing boats. Unfortunately my grandad no longer remembers any of this, so I’m running this with him in mind. 

It’s important to care and protect our heritage so that many future generations can enjoy and make many more happy memories like I have done so.
