We support people in the Harrogate district to live with terminal illness & bereavement

Story

As some of you will know, my Grandma was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in November 2020. Unfortunately, after a strong fight, Grandma passed away on Thursday 22nd April.

In her last two weeks, Saint Michael’s Hospice created a safe, peaceful environment in which she was able to spend her final days. Grandma remained her strong, stubborn and quick witted self until the very end. It was not her wish to have a funeral or flowers, instead she wanted us to set up a fundraiser for the place that helped her find peace.

Every £250 raised ensures that there are enough nurses on shift to provide each inpatient with round the clock care. £500 would mean a patient like Grandma could spend their final days at their Harrogate Hospice.

Please donate any amount you can as it will be going towards an incredible charity, in memory of an equally incredible woman.

Thank you!
