Story
As many of you will know, in 2017 my brother was hit by a car and suffered a significant brain injury. After spending 7 weeks in Intensive Care, in a coma and ventilated, at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham he was transferred to St George’s for a further 6 months of rehabilitation. In this time he learnt to talk, eat, walk and write again, thanks to the amazing staff at the hospital.
After being told he would never walk again, he is running the London Landmarks half marathon with me (in fact much faster than I will…)
You can watch his one year recovery video here https://youtu.be/
I am raising money for the St George’s Hospital Foundation to help them continue to save lives and also support the families of patients through a traumatic time. I appreciate any donations, big or small!
