Story
Hello lovely people: family, friends and supporters
A Charity Cycle for The Ladies Samaritans' Society
to benefit NHNN Patients
The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), where I work, has a small charity called The Ladies Samaritans' Society, that supports NHNN patients. This charity provides practical assistance for people on low income in the form of small grants for specific items. These grants can be for independence aids, equipment, emergency food, clothing and respite care. In addition, it provides financial assistance for a relative to stay in a hotel or travel costs so that they can visit. As an Application Officer for the charity, with your help, I want to raise funds for them.
I am doing a charity cycle across the Girth of Britain, from the Welsh Border (Hay on Wye) to the Wash (Kings Lynn) approximately 300 miles in 4 days (Oct 14th -17th)
It would be fantastic, if any of you wanted to make a donation. Any amount would be most appreciated and will directly benefit the NHNN patients.
* Please note: All the money will go via the charity to patients - nothing will be used for administration or trip costs.
I would like to give the warmest, heartfelt thanks to:
Ed, my brother and Neil Holden for cycling with me.
Rob Lacey, Tom Willcock, Val and Brian Peel for providing beds along the way.
Bill, for his various two wheeled creations and constant support
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you
Georgie
