Dear family and friends,

It took me 5 hours and 7 minutes to run the London Marathon.  At times it was fairly uncomfortable but  that was to be expected really!  

Most importantly it was a great day that raised over £3000 for children diagnosed with cancer and their families. 

At some of my lowest points during the race I thought of the support I have received from my family and friends at fundraising events as well as through their generous donations.  I have also recieved so much support from my colleagues and the pupils Eardley Primary School; the Mini Marathon fundraising day was a really happy day and as well as raising lots of money for CLIC Sargent.
