Thanks so much for visiting my Just Giving page.
For those of you that know me, you’ll be aware that I enjoy a challenge – usually of the running variety. However, in the 12 months up to my 40th birthday, I’ve decided to up the ante with a 40 by 40 challenge to raise funds for charity. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the back end of last year, thankfully he’s doing really well but not everyone is as lucky so I’ve chosen to support two charities close to my heart – Prostate Cancer UK and Eden Valley Hospice.
The clue is in the name…. I have given myself 40 challenges to complete over 12 months in the lead up to my 40th birthday. I’ll start on May 28th @ 4.30pm and I will finish no later than May 28th 2019 @ 4.29pm. That leaves me 7hrs and 31 minutes to enjoy being 39 before I hit the big four oh!

I’ve included a mixture of things I do and don’t really want to do, including a couple which terrify me (I’m scared of heights so Via Ferrata & gliding fall into this category!). Please do sponsor me if you’re able to and I’ll be very happy to see as many of you as can make it on running routes & at finish lines cheering me on too!
