Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since the second week of lockdown I’ve been taking my two boys, Buster age 2 1/2 and Vinnie age 1, in the buggy four times a week for a 6.5 k morning jog - but I say this quite lightly as around 50% of the time I’m either walking, snacking, playing with stones on the beach or running after the boys when they’re out of the buggy to stretch their legs.

This doesn’t come easy as I have rheumatoid arthritis located in my wrists. But after becoming furloughed, I’ve become a full time (not quite stay at home) mum, so I want to spend this lockdown period with my boys in the best way I know how - exploring our gorgeous coast near our home in Cowes and raise money for this amazing cause.

Our lovely friend and colleague Jeni, or ‘Pink Jen’ as she was called by those that knew her, sadly passed away this year, just as the world as we knew it, changed forever. She was at the Hospice on the IW and I am going to continue jogging with my two boys in her memory for Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Charities like this need our help more than ever right now, so please give whatever you can - no matter how little and I will keep on jogging!

“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, then I can achieve it.”

Thank you! Georgia, Buster & Vinnie xxx
