Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

I'm running the Bath Half marathon for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust because they have helped to keep my friend Lizzie healthy. Your money can pay for research into new and improving treatments and can pay for practical support for people and their families. Check out their website for more info about CF and what the trust does.

For me, the run will be hardcore: my training plan for this is nearly 200 miles alone! I've never run this far before, obviously. I will be having to cut back on the booze too to get myself into a fit state, which should really have a justgiving page of it's own.

Thanks so much for your support!
