After my numerous threats to throw myself off a high object or building from the stress of studying law, the moment has finally come!

On 9th December 2012 I will be abseiling down Avon Gorge to raise money for Penny Brohn Cancer Care http://www.pennybrohncancercare.org/.

If I raise my target of £50 I will also be doing this festive abseil dressed as Santa's elf!

Penny Brohn Cancer Care is wonderful charity to support as it offers support to those battling with Cancer through organising physical activities such as mediation and gentle exercise as well as stress releases such as arts and crafts. Through my life so far I have seen a close friend and family members battle with Cancer, some successfully and some tragically loosing their brave fight. Watching people stay positive throughout the horrific experience has presented me with the most inspirational figures of my life so far.The thought of a charity to support people during this battle and offer them both a chance to express their feelings and mix with other cancer victims is incredibly appealing.

If this doesn't persuade you then take the mental image with you that my mother has decide to adopt? She questioned whether they provided ropes... otherwise suggesting that I would actually be throwing myself off Avon Gorge to my death for charity! So just imagine me pooing myself while hurling off the cliff dressed as an elf. If that's not worth a donation I don't know what is.
