This November I'm going Purple to mark World Prematurity Day and shine a spotlight on premature birth, in support of Action Medical Research's BORN TOO SOON campaign. Every year in the UK, around 60,000 babies are born prematurely. Sadly, over 1,000 babies die as a result of being born too soon. And globally, premature birth is the biggest killer of children under 5. It's too many. Far too many. We know through medical research we can stop the devastation caused by premature birth so together were fighting back!
