We are PCD Support UK. We’re here for those affected by PCD, we talk about PCD as widely as possible and we champion research to improve its diagnosis, management and treatment. Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia is a rare, genetic disease (1 in 7,500 people), causing recurrent respiratory infections.

Story

Hi! I'm walking 154km (96 Miles) in just over a week to raise money for PCD Support UK. Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) is a rare genetic disease that causes recurrent lung infections, hearing loss, sinus disease, fertility problems and much more. People with PCD (like my sister) have to do constant treatment to keep their airways clear and infection free.

This charity has helped my family over the years and now I am hoping to raise a bit of hard cash to support them in the brilliant work they do. I'll be posting updates along the way, to let you know about my progress. Please give generously (and keep your fingers crossed for good weather!)
