Story
**Update** We ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon last weekend! We ran it in 3.5hours in barefoot shoes on a breakfast of steak & eggs. Thank you to everyone who has donated to us so far, we are so excited and proud to have raised this amount of money for Mind.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!
We are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October, in aid of Mind, because there is still insufficient awareness of mental health issues.
1 in 15 people in England will attempt suicide (https://tinyurl.com/yur8s42a).
Mind makes sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone; they provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Your money will go towards their campaigns for improving services, raising awareness, and promoting understanding and respect. Their latest campaign involves monitoring whether the government is protecting the nation's mental health since COVID (https://www.mind.org.uk/news-campaigns/campaigns/our-five-tests-for-uk-government/).
This run is for everyone: 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in our lifetimes. It is also in memory of someone close to Georgia who died by suicide.
If you, or someone you know, needs some support to find mental health services, please visit this page: https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/
Thank you for supporting us on our Half Marathon journey. We want to make sure people see mental fitness is as important as physical fitness!
