I have decided to get my walking shoes on and tackle Macmillans 26 mile Dedham Vale Hike in July 2022, in support of and to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. 

So many of us have been affected by cancer. Whether you are living with cancer yourself, supporting a loved one who has received a diagnosis or if you have sadly lost someone in the past who was battling this awful disease. This charity is very close to my heart as I know it is to many people. After losing my partners father to cancer last year, it has been eye opening to see not only how far we have come to treating and living with cancer, but also how much further we have to go. 

I am hoping to raise money for Macmillan because of the wonderful work they do. They have helped support myself personally, provide so many incredible resources and means of support and have helped to improve the lives of many living with cancer. 

I am aiming to raise a minimum of £250 with a target of £300. I would be incredibly grateful for any amount, large or small, if you are in a position to be able to donate. For all those who have fought cancer and won, to the loved ones who fought to the very end and sadly lost their battles.
