Story
George will be taking on the challenge of cycling round the Isle of Arran this September. Not only is the ride 55 miles long, it includes 4,000ft of hill climbs - that's only 400ft shy of pedalling up Ben Nevis!
Now in his 70s, George could be taking his first year in retirement easy, but instead, he is choosing to take on this challenge in the hopes of raising much needed funds for children across Scotland.
He's taking on this challenge for the children and families supported by CHAS. It’s a tough challenge, but we know that George will do an amazing job and we’ll be cheering him on every mile of the journey.
Every pound you donate will make a difference to children and families across Scotland. The SNIPEF community have supported CHAS over many years, raising an incredible £26,000. Unfortunately the last two years the SNIPEF have not been able to put on their annual dinner which has raised so much for CHAS in the past. George wanted to do something to help CHAS despite the fact that these events could not go ahead.
We hope the SNIPEF community are proud of what they have achieved for CHAS, and will get behind George in this challenge - and everyone else gets behind George and this challenge too!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who sponsors George!
