Story

On Saturday 26th October, Safe Haven trustee George Russell will be skydiving at Old Sarum Airfield, near Salisbury, to raise funds for the charity's emergency appeal.  Please support his bravery by making a donation!

Safe Haven's funds are dangerously low and the closure of the sanctuary and our mobile clinic is a very real prospect. For the donkeys at the sanctuary, homes will have to be found but we cannot guarantee the same levels of love, attention or medical care. Nor indeed the comfort of belonging to a herd. For the donkeys out in the field, its even more uncertain. This is why our wonderful trustee George Russell is With your help today, we can safeguard the future for these wonderful animals all of whom deserve better lives. Please support our campaign today. Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land, set up in 2000, reaches out to working and abandoned donkeys in Israel and the West Bank (Palestine) through its donkey sanctuary in Israel and free veterinary clinics for hundreds of working donkeys, mules and horses in the West Bank every month.
