Story

In January 2020 I asked friends to pledge 1p (or more!) per mile I run in 2020, with my aim to get to 1000 miles by the end of the year, in aid of the wonderful Jessie's Fund.  Like so many of my freelance colleagues, the Coronavirus pandemic pretty much halted my work for months so it meant I really pushed the running and got to the 1000 mile mark on Sunday 25 October, over two months earlier than planned.  I'm so thankful to everyone for pledging and supporting this challenge so far and I hope that as I continue to run until NYE they may consider pledging more when I have a final tally– I've connected this page to my Strava so you can see the miles tot up in real time!!

Jessie's Fund, like so many charities in 2020, have continued their vital work in new and adaptive ways, and I'm so happy to be raising a little bit of money to help them to do so.  As well as helping children with additional and complex needs or serious illness to communicate by using music, the charity also provides work for many freelance musicians across the UK– they benefit so many people and families in so many ways!

If you didn't pledge at the beginning of the year please consider donating anything you're able to afford here, it is very much appreciated.
