Story
"The George Ide Stride”, a 17 mile team walk along the South Downs Way between Washington and Ditchling Beacon to raise money for Headway Sussex.
Our aim is to raise much-needed funds to support those with brain injury and their families; Headway Sussex are a much-needed lifeline for many and they do an incredible job. This is a worthy cause and one that is close to our hearts at George Ide LLP, with our teams helping those who have sustained life changing injury.
About Headway Sussex
A brain injury can be life changing and impact on many areas of a person’s life. That’s why we’re here to help. Headway Sussex supports people living with an acquired brain injury and their family carers across Sussex. This can be the result of many different causes including stroke, accident, tumour, infection, sporting injury or assault. From providing advice and support during the initial spell in hospital, to one-to-one support at home, counselling and access to community support groups, we help people continue to live independently. We aim to ensure that everyone with a brain injury living in Sussex receives timely, compassionate, and individual information, support, and the services that they need so that they are not just ‘living with’ but thriving after their brain injury.
