Story

Hey! How's it going? Firstly, thanks for clicking on my fundraising page, it's much appreciated, and hopefully I can convince you to contribute to this fantastic cause in the next couple of paragraphs.

This summer I will be travelling in a group of 4 students to help teach in a small village just outside New Delhi (The first of 3 groups). I have been given this opportunity through the University of Warwick and the Laksh foundation who seek to improve the level of education that kids in India are receiving, as well as reduce the level of gender inequality that still exists out there.

Every day I feel privileged to have received the fantastic education that has made me the person I am today. I have been lucky enough to have been given this amazing opportunity, I can't wait to share my knowledge and experience and help to make a difference to how some children are taught by introducing new innovative methods of teaching that I have been so lucky to have experienced when I was at school.

I have been asked to fundraise £500 which helps pay for my accommodation whilst I'm out there volunteering, and ensuring the longevity of this amazing project.

It would mean so much to me if you could donate some money to this project, more information about the project can be found here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/giving/priority/responsibility/laksh/

Thanks again for checking out my page

Peace

xx
