Story
Unfortunately on the 12th November 2015, George Burt passed away after only 6 days with us. George was only with Claire House for a short period of time but the love, care and support they provided that day and continue to do so has been truly amazing.
Claire House is not just a children's hospice, they provide respite care for families and the work they do depends on generous donations like yours.
To honour George's memory and to ensure this wonderful place continues to offer their amazing support to families who unfortunately require their help, we have set ourselves a series of challenges.
Michael Burt (George's Uncle), Stephen Ball, David Molineux, Lewis Evans and John McNulty will be going 100 DAYS SOBER (no alcohol or cigarettes - for those that know us, a challenge enough!) as well as participating in a 5k run, 10k run (dates TBC) and ending with a 15k Rough Runner Challenge (10th April 2016 - unfortunately Lewis Evans will be unable to attend this event due to prior engagements but will be partaking in all other challenges).
Please give generously to this amazing cause, as we aim to raise £2000.
