Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Next year I'm running the Marathon Des Sables in April 2018 for the NSPCC. The MDS is billed as "The Toughest Footrace on Earth" and is a 156 mile ultra marathon through the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Temperatures that can exceed 50 degrees centigrade and the difficult terrain have lead to the Sahara being described as one of the most inhospitable places in the world.

I completed the 100km 'Longest Commute', a run to work through the night and have run the Welsh 3000s Mountain Challenge on Wednesday 9th August with my brother-in-law, Paul. A 30 mile mountain run with over 15,000 ft of ascent and descent. It's a brutal run all completed in one go taking in the 17 ascents of the 15 heighest peaks of Wales that are over 3000 ft in height.

I have more challenges lined up on the way to raise awareness for the NSPCC so watch out for these on Instagram georgebrowning, on Twitter @georgebrowning and Facebook.
