Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am "Sleeping Out" at Loftus Road with my son, Zach (10), as he feels very passionately that no-one should be homeless.
There has been many a time when we have been walking through London, whether that be on a family trip into town or on our way to QPR, that he asks for me or his mum to give money to the homeless people we pass. He has a big heart and if he could, he would give money (or some food) to every homeless person we see.
I have told him on many occasions that it is impossible for us to give money to every homeless person we meet but that there are charities that homeless people can turn to for help and support. If he wanted to get involved in supporting one of those charities, then we could. So, when we saw this event advertised at the QPR Community Day, we knew that we had to do it.
Although it won't be the same as being homeless, I am hopeful we will both get a better understanding of what it feels like not to have the things we sometimes take for granted and to raise money to help prevent young people getting into the cycle of homelessness.
Zach has set himself a target of £200 and will be raising money at his school and through his friends & family. Please help me to support him in raising as much as possible for a great cause.
