Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page! Any donation, no matter how small, is really appreciated and could make a real difference.

Despite hating running and being overweight/unfit, something my fellow players at NCRFC will attest to, I’ve decided to take part in the London Marathon in October. Having never run more than 10km the thought of completing 26 miles (42km) in less than 6 months is absolutely terrifying.

I am undertaking this mammoth challenge on behalf of Worldwide Cancer Research. Everyone has a family or a friend who had been affected by cancer so I needn’t explain just how important the work of WCR is. Having myself had two grandparents diagnosed with cancer just last year, there is no cause that is closer to my heart.

Whether your a family friend, an old mate from RGS or someone I know from New College you’ll know how hard I’m going to find running a marathon. Please make it worth it by donating generously 🙏🙏🙏
