Story
I saw an article on the 31 May 2017 about a tea party held at Buckingham Palace to celebrate London Youth's 130th anniversary. The charity was his first patronage in 1947 - 71 years - which is an inspirational length of service that I thought I would honour by running the London Marathon.
London Youth is a fantastic cause that believes where you start in life is not where you have to end up. I have been incredibly lucky to have an amazing start in life and it is time that I do something for children who are not so fortunate. London Youth uses its network of community youth organisations and two residential centres to challenge young people from all backgrounds to better themselves and aim higher, whether this be sport, business, arts or music. Their vision is to enable all young people in London to be healthy, fulfil their potential in their careers and to make a positive contribution to our society.
I hope you will also be inspired to support this fantastic cause by donating any small amount.
