Story
My name is George,
If you don't know me... you'll definitely know my parents Simon & Linda (They help me with my fundraising.. I'm only 13 after all!)
My aim is to raise money for the 'student welfare fund' for my school and classmates, who like me, have special educational needs.
I want to give-back a little to my school who have helped me smash targets and opened opportunities which would never have been available to me... let alone feasible to achieve.. without the support of my specialist teachers, therapists, staff and peers. I no longer just about cope, due to my Autism and DLD, I now genuinely thrive and love life and learning.
That's me in the photos in the purple hoodie doing the 5km hike last year. This year we will be hiking 10km through the muddy fields ( or 'Leafy surroundings' in Estate Agent vocabulary - sorry Auntie Mary! - she's the Estate Agent in our family! ) around our very special school - and would ask kindly if you can help smash another big target for me... my fundraising target!
Thank you for all your support
Love
George Sergides (Aged 13)
