On New Year’s Eve we were hit with the devastating news that my wife Kate - the rock of our family had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, believe me they are words no one in life should ever hear. 

Since that day which seems like a lifetime ago Kate has now become an outpatient at Clatterbridge where she is receiving treatment every few weeks to kick cancer’s ass, we have a long  journey ahead of us, but with the help of this fantastic hospital, everyone’s backing and Kate’s positive attitude towards kicking ass I know she can do this. 

This is my way of giving a little something back to a place that is giving me  and my family something amazing.

For those of you that know me well enough - you will know the thought of 321 miles in a month would send a shiver down my spine but it’s time for a change and with the help of 2 of my good pals Ben Poole and Matt Bradley the bikes and running trainers are out, we are going to smash this.!!! 

I know times are hard but if you can dig deep any amount will be great fully received.
