Story
Dear Friends and Family,
On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October I am running the Atlantic Coastal Challenge in Support of the West Cornwall Hospital Memory café.
A whopping 78miles of gruelling, undulating coastal paths with elevation gains of over 2000ft a day. The race is divided into 3 stages: a marathon a day for 3 days, starting in Constantine Bay and finishing in Lands end.
Please help me suffer for a reason and show your support for The West Cornwall Hospital memory café. It is a brilliant grass roots charity set up by assistant practioner Joanna Pope, Lisa Williams, staff nurse Joe Wallis and health care worker Susan Oliver -a charity that has grown from a better understanding of the wider needs of dementia patients. It looks to provide stimulating care and support for local patients with cognitive impairment.
It is still in its infancy and needs your generous help to allow staff time to provide patient centred care and to develop its facilities.
Many thanks for your support and for
taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.,
