Story
In my time 5 year career at Canford school from 13-18 years of age I managed to skip every single cross country run we ever did. Whether through hiding in bushes, behind bins, under beds, or faining injury at the last minute; I managed to miss every single chance to get these tree trunks of legs on the move.
Since the summer of 2003, the day I left school and today, I have managed an 8k run... with my aunt...
That works out at 8km in 25 years....
But now, inspired by the charity, Prostate Action, times they are a-changin'. And I thought....If your time to you is worth savin', then you better start swimmin' (and cycling and running) or you'll sink like a stone.
So I am doing the triathlon, swimming 750m in the docklands, cycling 20km and sprinting 5km.
Prostate Cancer, known as the silent killer, is the most common cancer amongst men, killing over 10,000 men in the UK last year alone.
I want to raise awareness of the Cancer as well as raising money for such a good cause, so please sponsor me and give generously.
