Story

After a cancelled event last year, Harry and I are far enough into training to ask for donations of your hard earned cash!

However this year is slightly different because that money will mean a lot more than it usually does because between the time it got cancelled and today, someone close to us lost their battle against mental health and took their own life. Usually I wouldn't share something so personal but now I've felt a fraction of what the families who lose people due to mental health feel, it's motivated us to raise more money than ever if possible. The only people that can help achieve that is you and I can't put into words how grateful we would be if you could donate. Even Rob himself said he would donate regardless of how often he called us crazy bastards!

We are throwing everything into our training to get the quickest time possible and any money donated will be a huge motivation towards our quickest time!

Thanks for reading this and we'll update this page on the 10th of October after finishing Manchester Marathon!

Manchester Mind is an independent, local charity, which supports over 5000 young people and adults each year. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we have a part to play in that. Our charity values the commitment of our staff and volunteers, who work hard to ensure services are delivered in a way that enables people to feel heard and involved. Donations and help from our fantastic supporters make a real difference, so thank you for being part of our success this year.
