Story
Update, due to weather I was unable to skydive on my birthday weekend so I will now be taking to the skies on Sunday 24th July.
On Monday 23rd May I will be turning 70 years old!
Instead of parties and presents I would like to fundraise for Highland Hospice by taking on a tandem skydive. I will be taking to the skies on Sunday 22nd May from Errol Airfield Grange in Perth-shire. To make sure I am fighting fit for the occasion I have been out walking...I need to make sure I meet the weight restrictions! ;) I'm really excited to take on this challenge the day before my birthday and will certainly be celebrating with lots of birthday cake afterwards!
I wanted to fundraise for Highland Hospice as the charity means a lot to myself and my wife Dorothy, through my voluntary work I see first hand the difference that is made. I have been a driver and events volunteer for the last 8 years and Dot has supported the charity with various voluntary roles, especially within the charity shops for the last 21 years!
Any donation you could make would be so gratefully received by myself and the charity.
