Story
Everyone has now heard of Bradley Lowery, the brave little man who has inspired thousands across the world and raised awareness of Neuroblastoma.
The Bradley Lowery Foundation was set up in his name by his parents to continue the fight against this disease, and treat other children suffering from this awful killer disease!
We are a group of Newcastle and Sunderland fans who will come together on the 13th October to have our 2nd Annual Geordies V Mackem's Banter Page Charity 8 a side match....
This is the 2nd fixture between these 2 fantastic bunch of lads. On the 17/12/17 they played their first ever fixture where both teams were held to a 3-3 draw but the Sunderland lads went on to win 4-3 on penalty's.
More importantly over £7000 in total was raised by both sides which was paid to Bradleys friend and fellow Neuroblastoma sufferer Isla Caton for her treatment fund by the request of the Bradley Lowery Foundation. Our adopted warrior Isla will be in attendance as guest of honour along with mam and dad Nicola and Michael.
Each player requires a minimum sponsorship of £150 to play in this event before the match, this money will go towards helping sick children receive life saving treatment and life changing equipment!
This years event has had a fantastic head start of sponsorship thanks to North East company's Walker Taxis, Slade Autos, Richmond Taxis, Nobles Tyres, Swift Motors NE and Altone Body Repair Centre all contributing a fantastic combined amount of £1800 !!!!!
