We fund lifesaving research to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

On 29th April 2011 Kate and Will's got married for all the World to see. This day was also very special as it was the day I completed the Tesco Trek to Peru where I reached Machu Picchu raising £4k for CLIC Sargeant.

Having not taken part in a Charity Event for 3 years I thought now would be the perfect time to take a leisurely bike ride down to the sunny coast of Brighton to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

The 52 mile bike ride from Clapham Common to Brighton Sea Front will take place on Sunday 15th June so please feel free to come down to Clapham or Brighton to cheer me on. This will be challenge for me as I haven't been on a proper bike ride for quite sometime and I also current don't own a bike but don't worry I have one currently on order!

I won't be completing this challenge alone as I will be part of the Tesco Team 'Beans on Toast'. The team consists of 5 people from Grocery (Beans) and 5 people from Bakery (Toast) hence the catchy name!

The British Heart Foundation are a great Charity who carry out research to help fight the UK's biggest killer Coronary Heart Disease. Last year the British Heart Foundation invested in over £90million of life saving research to help improve the nation's heart health and this was achieved through charitable donations.

Please donate what you can to help the Beans on Toast team make a difference.
