Story
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. I am a 55 year old who is going into the ring for the first time on 28th March 2020 for a competitive three round fight. My ambition is (1) to have enough courage to enter the ring (2) to get fit enough to see it through; and (3) to come out intact, having achieved something I've always wanted to do.
At the same time I'd like to support a great cause. Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer, to live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, they’re right there.
If you're warm to the idea, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
I was thinking about a fundraising target. The first thought was how may days have I been alive? But at 20,225 (and rising) that's a big ask! If we can get to £550.00 (or beyond) it will be a massive achievement and all donations are gratefully accepted.
