Story
Poor Circulation: 28,000 Miles, 28 Countries, 28 Weeks ... ............................... on £20 per Day
Having sold everything that I owned, in April 2008 I set out to ride my Trumph motorcycle around the world. The objective was to carry the ashes of my late parents, Georgre & Barabra Thomas to the home of my Brother and his Family in Boonville California, .. and thus grant my Mother's final wishes.
When Mom said that she wished Dad had lived long enough to meet his new Grandchildren in California or at least once had the chance to ride his own Triumph down California Highway 1, .... I'm sure that this is not exactly what she'd had in mind.
The story of this journey and the continuing adventures of 'Blue88' can be found at: www.poorcirculation.blogspot.com
Although the initial journey is now complete and Barbara's final wishes have been granted, I'm still some way short of raising my £5,000 target for St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington. I will continue working until the target is achieved, and any help in getting there will be much appreciated.
Anybody donating to St Teresa's will have their Name carried with me on the Bike, ... go on, ... you know you want to, ... and every £1 raised will help St Teresa'a to continue providing its amazing services to our community on a free basis.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Darlington & District Hospice Movement will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your continued Support. Geoff (Blue88)
