I am consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at East Lancashire Hospitals Trust, the clinical lead at Royal Bolton Hospital and one of the researchers at the Saving Faces Charity. I work with a great team who look after the faces and jaws of people in East Lancashire and Bolton

We treat  patients who have cancer to the face and month, sustained facial injuries  and patients with  facial deformity. 

 I am raising money new equipment  which is above and beyond NHS standards and  research to enhancing  patient care  and recovery for patients who have had surgery to their face and mouth

Saving Faces – The Facial Surgery Research Foundation is the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to the worldwide reduction of facial injuries and diseases. We are taking the lead in education and research to improve the physical and psychological treatment of all victims of oral cancer and other facial diseases. 

Annually,  Bolton stages the  world famous  Ironman, this will be the first and only time  the  Ironman 70.3 will be staged:

1.2mile swim in Pennington Flash

56 Mile cycle around the hills of northern Bolton, including the tough climb up to  Belmont and Rivington.  

13.1 mile  half marathon finishing in Bolton Town Centre.
