Story
My dad was great, I would go so far as the say the best.
Was he perfect? Of course not. He hated losing, supported an incredibly average football team, always thought he was right (which he was most of the time) and chewed his food obnoxiously loud.
But he was also a kind, generous, intelligent and all round wonderful husband, dad, grandad, and friend. He had so many passions, he loved to travel, go out to eat, watch birds, spot trains, play golf (among other sports) and enjoyed sharing these with the people he cared about most. And it's all these things that we loved about him, because they made him special.
To be honest I'll never be able to put into words how much my dad meant to our family, how grateful we are for everything he did for us, how much we miss him and wish he were with us. But if you knew him, then you already know how great he was.
